Spread over 112,000 hectares, the largest and oldest region in the world for fine wines is home to 65 appellations, 7000 winemakers, 300 wine dealerships and around 100 brokers, with an average production of 5 million hectolitres per year.

Visit wine chateaux

This is an opportunity to have a true ‘Wine, Heritage and Landscape’ experience. Every appellation is special in its own way! Find out about the work of a winemaker on-site and follow the vinification process step-by-step in the wine storehouse. Your vineyard tour is followed by a tasting session, after which you can usually buy some of the wines tasted on the property. Properties can offer classic tours, themed tours, tasting classes, dining and fun activities.
