A wine bar for every taste

Carefully selected quality wine, expert advice and appetizing nibbles - these are the golden rules of the wine bar. But most of them have a little something extra to thrill us: a dance floor between two bottles, wine-based cocktails or wine and rugby evenings. It's up to you to choose the one that will set the mood for your evening!

A wine bar for wine cocktails

How about tasting local wines for a change... in a cocktail! Le Point Rouge offers wine-based cocktails such as the "Sauterne Spritz" (Suze, Sauterne, Champagne) or the "Bordeluche", which has become the signature cocktail of the place: a rather tannic wine that marries with rum aged in a cognac barrel, passion fruit and a hint of Marie Brizard. Purists can rest assured that they'll find what they're looking for on the 1,200-strong wine list

A wine bar for the after-match

Chez le Pépère is the name of this simple, no-fuss wine bar located a few steps away from Place Gambetta. While nibbling a good saucisson, enjoy a glass of wine from an all-French selection of small independent producers and winemakers. The wines, crafted directly at the estates, are at property prices. The charismatic owner is a rugby fan, so you can follow the Top 14 or the VI nations tournament, a good glass in hand and inevitably... share the lively after-match. Jazz lovers will be pleased to know that the bar hosts an excellent lineup of concerts and jam sessions throughout the year.

A wine bar to discover Bordeaux's vineyards

With a regularly updated wine list of some thirty wines, the CIVB Bar is the perfect place to explore the diversity of Bordeaux's vineyards. Here, you'll find something for every taste: reds, dry and sweet whites, rosés, clairets and crémants. Each type of wine, served exclusively by the glass, has its own glassware. And we don't skimp on the welcome and comfort of all, since the Wine Bar also offers gourmet plates, a water list and Bordeaux grape juice. A word of advice: don't forget to look up at the stained-glass windows by René Buthaud, depicting Apollo triumphant amidst the Bordeaux grape-pickers and an allegory of the Garonne River!

A wine bar for an introduction to biodynamic viticulture

Complanterra: a name that refers to complantation (the art of blending grape varieties in a terroir) and to mother earth sets the tone! Here, we've resolutely set our sights on biodynamic, organic and natural wines. Romain, Sacha and Clémentine promote biodiversity, and polyculture and agroforestry hold no secrets for them. "Le Cave", located in the Saint-Paul district, also organizes tasting workshops in its attractive vaulted cellar, to discover biodynamic and natural wines. All tastings are accompanied, how could it be otherwise, by food boards to share, produced with respect for the environment and animal welfare.

A wine bar to take you around the world

Bordeaux wines, of course, but also (and above all) wines from elsewhere. Wines from Chile, South Africa and even Australia will give you the chance to rub shoulders (or rather your palate) with other skills and grape varieties from around the world. Entirely made up of virtuous winegrowers, Le Métropolitain, located at 49 Cours d'Alsace-et-Lorraine, extensively promotes organic and biodynamic wines. The wine list concocted by the in-house sommeliers highlights the great appellations, but also the nuggets... It would be surprising if you didn't find the keel that suits you among the 180 references. And here's an added bonus: the Metropolitain also offers a selection of around thirty beers!

A bar for fine wines and spirits

The spirit of Le Chai des Chartrons, where it all began for Bordeaux wines, is a taste for wine before the label, the discovery of the finest cuvées shaped by the genius of the winemakers. Fabrice Dumont & Louis Navarre, wine globetrotters, are committed to unearthing for you the best vintages from the region and beyond, every week. Passionate about both red and white gold, they proudly and modestly represent winegrowers who are little-known to the public, but whose quality cannot be disputed. You be the judge.

A wine bar to discover 32 wines by the glass

Sobre Chartrons, located in the former Mecca of the wine trade, responds precisely to the curiosity of the Gironde capital's many oenophiles by offering 32 wines by the glass! A system allows the nectars to be dispensed at the ideal temperature, with 3 possible wine doses.

Le Sobre Chartrons is both a wine cellar and a wine bar. This duality offers two advantages: a vast selection of nearly 1,000 wine references, and transparent, advantageous pricing (the price of the bottle consumed on site is the price of the bottle in the cellar, with a "droit de bouchon" service surcharge). The Sobre Chartrons team will help you choose the right wines for your meal. Plates made entirely from local, artisanal products.

A wine and food bar

The name says it all: ampélo is derived from the Greek ampelos: vine! Ampelography is the discipline shared by botany and oenology that deals with grape varieties. The latest addition to the Dock du Vin network of wine shops, l'Ampelo, located between the Quinconces and the Allées de Tourny, offers a wide selection of wines from Gironde and beyond, with 600 references. Although l'Ampélo sees itself primarily as a wine shop, it is of course possible to drink your own bottle for a modest corkage fee, or to choose from a vast selection of wines by the glass! The wood-colored setting is vast and perfectly located.

A wine bar and DJ's set

Lénaïc, an avid oenophile and tireless collector of great finds and wines with character, was quick to open his CUV in the Boca FoodCourt, convinced that this business district, with its train station and nightclubs, would soon become a lively neighborhood spot! There, under the benevolent guidance of Stéphane or Theodor, CUV offers the chance to make your own wine and food pairings with the many dishes on offer, by the glass, or to buy a bottle to take away. And on weekends, the CUV offers DJ evenings! A great way to democratize wine!
