5 Bordeaux restaurants among France's 100 best best places to eat

In the latest edition of The Fork's Top 100 best restaurants in France, Bordeaux proudly stands out with five remarkable establishments, confirming its status as an essential culinary destination. Let's take a brief overview of these restaurants, symbols of Bordeaux's creative and bold cuisine.

Arcada - bistrononomie à la bordelaise

Located in the heart of the Saint-Pierre district, on one of the city's most charming streets, Arcada offers refined bistronomic cuisine. Stonework and a solid wood bar give the place warm and sophisticated ambiance. With notable experience in prestigious establishments such as those of Alain Ducasse, Pierre Gagnaire, and Joël Robuchon, chef Jean-Philippe Vecco creates innovative, uncluttered dishes blending local flavors with international influences. The restaurant, awarded by the Guide Michelin and by the Gault & Millau, also boasts a beautiful vaulted cellar. A safe bet!

Among the stars of the menu: a back of pollack with shellfish and melting celery, crispy sweetbreads with morel mushrooms, langoustine ravioli, vanilla corn and pistachio veil. The lovely, finely crafted dishes are accompanied by an exceptional wine list carefully selected by Cristina, talented sommelier.
