Set on the water's edge, in the heart of the "Port de la Lune", this 8th edition of the festival is also an opportunity to reconnect with the history of the region. The opening of FAB on 30 September, the night of the full moon, will kick off this new journey.

Tintin arrives at the submarine base

Following the success of "Tintin, the immersive adventure" presented at the Atelier des Lumières in Paris in 2022, then at the Carrières des Lumières in 2023, this unique creation devoted to the adventures of Tintin arrives at the Bassins des Lumières on 20 October! This new temporary exhibition will pay tribute to the famous reporter with the powder puff, an inveterate traveller whose voyages around the globe have been part of popular culture for almost one hundred years. A unique interpretation of Hergé’s work, this immersive exhibition enables both young people and adults, ‘from 7 to 77’, to (re)explore the creative and fictional world of one of the twentieth-century’s greatest cartoonists. And for those who have not yet had the chance to appreciate the works of Dali and Gaudi, there is still time to enjoy them until 7 January.

Admission to the Bassins des Lumières is free with Bordeaux CityPass (1 exhibition only)
