The former winery of wine merchants Hannapier and Calvet dating back to 1871 has been transformed into a sumptuous venue with Japanese restaurant, terrace, pool and spa. The alliance between West and East is omnipresent in the architecture and design, with Japanese elements such as pagodas and calligraphy, creating an intimate, hushed atmosphere. The 97 rooms and suites, with private terraces, invite tourists and locals to enjoy a change of scenery. The restaurant, the first in Europe by chef Masaharu Morimoto, blends Japanese delicacy with French excellence. Bordelais and visitors can savor exquisite dishes, while enjoying the tree-lined terrace. In a nod to history, the grandiloquent cellar holds over 10,000 bottles. On Thursday and Friday evenings, it is animated by a DJ.
