Château La Tour de Bessan
Château La Tour de Bessan is a family property located in the Margaux appellation. Its name comes from a 13th century tower, bought in 1972 at the same time as the vineyard by Lucien Lurton.
In 1992, his daughter Marie-Laure took over. With a degree in oenology and years of experience on her father's properties, she knows perfectly each of the plots that make up the estate.
She's bringing the estate into a new era by investing in the vineyard in a way that puts sustainability at the heart of the project. The winery is located in a building that is intriguing as its modernity stands out among the traditional castles of the area.
The wines produced are known for their particularly silky character.
