Château Saint Ahon
Built during the XIV century, property of Charles de Montesquieu during the XVIII century, this « Cru Bourgeois » was bought in 19885 by the Count and the Countess Bernard de Colbert. Their daughter and son-in-law, Françoise and Nicolas Chodron de Courcel, settled themselves in the castle in 2003 and the third generation arrives with their daughter Alice in 2017.
Convinced that “only a beautiful vine can make a good wine”, we have made the choice to enhance the expertise of nowadays wine-making. We have obtained in 2013 the High Environmental Value certification in level 3 to reward our efforts in reasoned agriculture.
In a diversification approach, the property opened itself to wine tourism in 2006. It has been rewarded in 2012 with a Best of Wine Tourism in the category « Events organization » and in 2013 with a golden Best of Wine tourism in the category « Discovery and Innovation »
Our desire is to continue our wine tourism development, just like our delicatessen, which offers our wines and "Made in France" products and discoveries.
