Château La Rose Pourret
Château La Rose Pourret is a wine estate located on the northwest plateau of the Saint Emilion village. Its vineyard extends over an exceptional terroir which characterizes the great wines of the Saint Emilion Grand Cru appellation.
Managed according to the specifications of the Organic Agriculture (certified since 2021), the vineyard is composed of 85% of Merlot and 15% of Cabernet Franc over more than 9 hectares of vines. The terroir is homogeneous throughout the property, made up of sand and deep clay.
The result of a desire for technical and aesthetic modernity, a more functional stainless steel truncated vat room recently came to complement its concrete predecessor. We
can thus vinify each plot separately in order to extract its typicity and produce wines that
are ever representative of their terroir.
The ageing of Château La Rose Pourret wine is carried out for 80% in barrels and 20% in concrete vats or in terracotta amphorae. Our objective is to produce an elegant and charming wine that is meant to be aged in the cellar but which also can be enjoyed straight from the bottle during its youth.
