Château Olivier

Vignobles et découvertes

Situated in the heart of a vast wooded estate at the gates of the Bordeaux agglomeration, Château Olivier appaers like a jewel secretly ket in its green setting.
Former lordship whose medieval origins are reflected in the feudal architecture of the castle, the estate belongs to the family of Bethmann since 1886. The wines of Château Olivier are part of the Grands Crus Classés de Graves both in red and white since 1953, and belong to the appellation Pessac-Léognan since its creation in 1987. On 60 hectares of a hilly gravel terroir on clay-limestone bedrock, five grape varieties express their personality and bring their richness to our blends. The wines, which are exported all over the world through the Bordeaux trade, are composed and aged to become very great wines for aging. Château Olivier will produce its first certified organic vintage in 2024.
