Château Laniote
Although the owners’ names have often changed, Château Laniote has remained in the same family—passing from mother to daughter—for almost two centuries.
Today, it is a happy group of four children and their parents, Arnaud and Florence de la Filolie (née Ribéreau-Gayon), who will introduce you to the property.
The château is a residence of limestone with terra cotta roof tiles typical of Saint-Emilion, whose landscape is inscribed in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
You are invited to visit the neighboring vat house, barrel cellar and bottle storeroom where the family will explain the various stages of activity in the vineyard and the cellars via a short film presented with live narration.
A convivial tasting with one of the owners will enable you to understand the subtleties of this wine produced with passion each year at Château Laniote.
