Château du Lort

Built in 1688, Château du Lort was originally a noble house, commanding the nearby fiefdoms of Talet and Lamothe. The property was renowned for the quality of its agricultural land, receiving an award from the Gironde Society of Agriculture. Deeply attached to this exceptional heritage, the Castel family acquired Château du Lort in 1984.

A considerable amount of work was subsequently undertaken to modernize the property.

Located just a few minutes from Bordeaux, the small vineyard located in the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation stands out for the diversity of its terroirs, its contemporary technical facilities and its responsible approach to winemaking. The result is an attractive, well-structured wine with an elegant, oaky profile.

Enter into the heart of Bordeaux’s elegant countryside, and discover a property that exudes rural elegance.
