Château Desmirail, a 3rd Grand Cru Classé according to the 1855 classification, is one of the 21 prestigious Grands Crus Classés within the Margaux appellation. Located in the heart of the village of Margaux-Cantenac, Château Desmirail opens its majestic gates to you. Our team is delighted to welcome you and share a convivial moment as you discover the estate and its rich history.

Come and explore this 40-hectare Grand Cru Classé, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. The estate features an authentic 19th-century Médoc vat room—still in use today—as well as an 18th-century "chartreuse" manor. Desmirail wines are a blend of finesse and elegance, crafted in the purest Margaux style.

Tours by appointment from Monday to Friday from 2 November to 30 April, and from Tuesday to Saturday from 2 May to 31 October.

Desmirail Gourmand (1 hour 30 mins)
Treat your taste buds to a gourmet tour of the château focusing on food and wine pairings, with the estate’s wines served alongside a cheese and charcuterie platter specially curated by our local caterer – €30 per person (booking required 72 hours in advance)

Desmirail Signature (2 hours)
Explore the estate with a fresh perspective, guided by one of the owners – €60 per person (on request; please contact the château directly)
