The Château Cap Léon Veyrin has been family-owned since 1810 when the Château Cap Léon and the Veyrin estates were joined. The word ‘Cap ‘originally meant ‘head ‘. The vineyard of Cap Léon actually thrones on the higher land of Listrac Médoc, and thus boats ideal natural drainage and sun exposure.
Nathalie and Julien Meyre are the 6th generation of this Médoc family of winegrowers to manage this property.
Nathalie and Julien now bring their own new experience and dynamic to this well-known Cru Bourgeois of the Médoc.
The Meyre family propose the visit and the tasting, and bed and breakfast.
