Sustainable approach

Nathalie Feferberg from Les Bateaux Bordelais says: "Born from a common passion for the Estuary and the Garonne, Les Bateaux Bordelais is now working to help people discover this river, its scenery and its flavours on board its red and black fleet. At a time when the environment is a priority for many, we are proud to highlight our Sicambre boat, which has been sailing hybrid since the beginning of the year thanks to the installation of electric batteries. This installation complements our photovoltaic panels installed on the roof. As a fully-fledged restaurant, we want our commitment to the environment and to local produce to be reflected in our dishes: the menu is made up of local, fresh products that are in keeping with the season. Working with local partners is also essential, such as recycling bio-waste on board with Mon Petit Seau, or cigarette butts with EcoMégot for example.

Quite simply, sustainable tourism is in our DNA!"
