ComplanTerra: a name inspired by complantation (the practice of growing different crops together) and the nurturing earth, setting the tone for everything we do! Here, we are firmly committed to biodynamic, organic and natural wines. Romain, Sacha and their team are passionate about sharing more environmentally friendly and people-conscious approaches to viticulture and winemaking.

Our wine shop is located in the Saint-Paul district, just a stone’s throw from the Grosse Cloche, one of Bordeaux’s iconic landmarks.

Part wine shop, part wine bar and part wine-focused eatery, ComplanTerra was born out of a desire to champion good drinking and good food.

ComplanTerra offers a wide selection of over 500 wines from across France, all organic, biodynamic or natural.

Our menu is entirely homemade by our chef, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Our signature offer: €1 oysters during happy hour! Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening.

We also run weekly wine-tasting workshops exploring the world of organic, biodynamic and natural wines from Bordeaux. These sessions are a great way to get to know our local wine region inside out, while discovering more environmentally friendly approaches to viticulture and winemaking.

Workshops take place every Saturday in the late afternoon. Available in French and English.

Sustainable approach

Complanterra only offers organic, biodynamic and natural wines and is attentive to its waste management (plastic, paper, business cards).

The produce on the menu also comes from environmentally-friendly production methods (organic farming, sustainable fishing, local produce, etc.).
