"In addition to the various tastings we offer at artisans, we always emphasize the historical aspect," she points out. So, we discover Bordeaux through its culinary specialties and its history. at every step of the way. You'll learn about the history of croque-monsieur and cream puffs, as well as Eleanor of Aquitaine and her era when forks didn't exist, and the history of the Chartrons district.

All the walks are open to all, but one in particular will delight children. This is the "almost perfect snack", ideal for little lovers of refined sweets. "This two-hour course is more dynamic so that children don't get bored. Among other things, they'll taste chocolates, fruit juices, viennoiseries... This stroll is enhanced by a picture book to illustrate what we're talking about."

Lovers of sweet and savory treats, Do eat better has concocted a particularly gourmet tour through Bordeaux's main thoroughfares. "The tour takes place on foot, passing through emblematic areas of downtown Bordeaux, from Place de la Bourse to Place Gambetta. This walk allows you to discover both the architectural heritage and the varied atmospheres of these neighborhoods while enjoying the various gourmet stops," explains Marc Bellereaud, the manager.

Everything takes place on foot with a leisurely pace suited to everyone. The atmosphere is intimate and conducive to exchanges with a limited number of people between two and twelve. During the two-hour stroll, you'll discover Gironde specialties such as the famous canelé and dune blanche. A savory stop is also on the program, with a main course featuring Southwestern meat or fish of the day, always accompanied by local seasonal vegetables.

A plate of French cheeses, including Comté or Camembert, is offered only in the evening. And as wine is emblematic of the region, a tasting is on the program, accompanied by explanations of the secrets of its manufacture. "What sets this tour apart is its balance between gastronomic discovery and local immersion.
