Cycling in the vineyards - Three routes

It's time to get on your bike and ride through the vineyards to visit a few châteaux. Starting from Blanquefort station, in the north of the city, three routes of 9, 23 and 29 kilometres invite you to discover Château Dillon, Malleret, Paloumey, D'Agassac, Ségur, Saint Ahon and the Tonnellerie Nadalié while pedalling. Let's go!

9 km loop

During the course of this 9-kilometre bike ride, starting from Blanquefort train station, you can visit two vineyards: Château Dillon and Château Saint-Ahon. Both properties are open for visiting and have a boutique where you can buy a bottle to fill up your basket.

23 km loop

Lovers of cycling and wine will relish this 23-kilometre bike ride. Setting off from Blanquefort train station, you’ll head out on a discovery of four wine estates from the Haut Médoc appellation. These Médoc chateaux are open to visitors and offer various different attractions, such as tours, tasting sessions, boutiques… Something to recompense your efforts after roaming the local vineyards and forests.

29 km loop

Set off to explore some urban vineyards by bike! It’s best to anticipate a full day for this 29-kilometre circuit that begins at the Blanquefort train station: but worry not! Your efforts will be compensated… Indeed, this nice itinerary takes you to no less than six wine estates and a cooperage. As a break from pedalling, stop of for a tasting and meet wine producers from the Haut-Médoc.
