A horseback ride on the beach or in the forest
On the beach, in the forest or at Lac de Lacanau: there are rides to suit all tastes and levels, at centre équestre des Sabots du Temple. Choose between a forest ride, accessible to the uninitiated and to children aged 7 and over, or a toes-in-the-water escapade on the ocean at Le Porge beach. The latter is accessible to riders at ease in all three gaits, walk, trot and canter, as are the full-day rides to Lac de Lacanau lake (offered only in spring).

A horseback ride through the vineyards
A change of scenery after the lake and the ocean, how about a ride through the Entre-deux-Mers? The pony club rides at l'Ecurie Novum invite you to ride between forests and vineyards. Another route takes in the Teynac golf course. In small groups, the team adapts to the riders' level, just like the values it upholds all year round in its stable, respecting the equines, their rider and the stable professionals.

Galking off into the sunset: a horseback ride around the lake
In the heart of the Parc Naturel des Landes de Gascogne, the Domaine des lacs d'Hostens offers a playground and horseback rides not to be missed. There, Nicolas and Capucine from Ecuries du Lac d'Hostens, pamper their mounts, who live in meadows all year round, and offer rides accessible to the uninitiated, in small groups of up to five, to evolve by the lake or among the park's deciduous and coniferous trees. Sunset rides are also available!

A horseback ride on the banks of the Ciron
At la Ferme de Peyrot, the horses have been carefully selected for the ride: mental, endurance, kindness, here you are between good hooves. Hiking circuits, from one to three days, allow you to discover the diversity of the Bazadais region, located at the gateway to the Landes and Lot-et-Garonne regions and just a stone's throw from the Ciron gorges. For the less initiated, or those in a hurry: Éléonore offers an introduction coupled with a short 1h30 forest walk, enough to put your foot in the stirrup!
