Château Balestard La Tonnelle

For more than 400 years, Saint-Émilion has been the cradle of the Capdemourlin family.Located north-east of Saint-Émilion, Château Balestard La Tonnelle is situated on the clay-limestone plateau.

Stretching over 10.5 hectares of vines, the vineyard was founded in the 15th century. Committed to respect for the environment and traditions, Château Balestard La Tonnelle has adopted the sustainable cultivation method. Château Balestard la Tonnelle continues its ascent among the appellation's leading names thanks to its new bioclimatic cellar and its wine tourism area overlooking the city and its vines.

In order to welcome you in the best conditions and reserve you a privileged moment, visits are by appointment (in French, English and Spanish). Each visit ends with a tasting of two wines in the reception room. This new area has been designed and fitted out to allow you to discover the wines in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
