Stade Atlantique Bordeaux Métropole
Designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron, this 42,115 seat stadium opened in May 2015. It is characterised by its numerous columns, inspired by the pine forests of the Landes region. It is the largest sports and cultural complex in western France.
Stade Atlantique Bordeaux is a multifunctional venue designed to host a varied programme of events, including concerts, football matches and rugby matches. Since its inauguration, the stadium has hosted FC Girondins de Bordeaux Football Club matches, EURO 2016, the French national rugby team, the Top 14, the 2023 Rugby World Cup, Céline Dion, Ed Sheeran, Muse and more.
The Stade ATLANTIQUE Bordeaux Métropole invites you to discover behind the scenes of the stadium through a 1.5-hour guided tour for individuals and groups.
From the top of the stands, which offer breathtaking panoramic views, to the edge of the pitch, you can explore areas that are usually closed to the general public. Walk through the mixed zone and the players' tunnel, and take a seat in the FC Girondins de Bordeaux changing rooms.
