Piscine municipale Judaïque Jean Boiteux
Located in the heart of Bordeaux, the Jean Boiteux Jewish swimming pool stands out for its Art Deco architecture and style.
Another unique feature is that this pool has the only Olympic-size pool in the city.
Thanks to its retractable roof, it can be opened up when the weather is nice, allowing residents to swim outdoors.
The swimming pool dates back to 1936 and underwent its first restructuring and renovation in 1996.
It is currently undergoing further work to make it even more energy efficient and welcoming, but remains accessible nonetheless.
A wide range of aquatic activities are available for children, teenagers, adults and seniors.
It has:
- A 25 m x 12 m indoor pool (6 lanes) with a depth of 2 to 3 m
- A 50 m x 21 m indoor Olympic pool with a retractable roof (8 lanes) with a depth of 1 to 3.60 m
- A teaching pool with a depth of 0.80 to 1.50 m
- A paddling pool
- A solarium with deckchairs, a spa and a slide (for children aged 7 and over)
Please bring:
- A 1€ coin for the coin-operated lockers
- A swimming cap (compulsory)
- A swimsuit (swimming shorts are not permitted)
Closed on public holidays and Mondays.
