In Caudéran, the Stéhelin swimming pool is being transformed into a Nordic pool: a heated outdoor pool accessible all year round.
The entire site has been redesigned, with the addition of a water play area for children, two sun terraces and a restaurant.
The temperature of the Nordic pool is maintained at 27 °C by a heat pump system. As this pool is uncovered, it requires neither dehumidification nor heating of the ambient air, which helps to keep energy consumption under control.
