Piscine du Pinsan à Eysines
In early May 2019, the Pinsan swimming pool was transformed into a 2,200 m² aquatic centre capable of accommodating between 40,000 and 60,000 people per year (general public and schoolchildren).
The new building houses a hall and pools that are fully glazed on the east and south sides, allowing solar energy to be used to heat the interior in winter.
The swimming areas consist of a 25-metre sports pool (6 lanes), a 15x10-metre learning pool and a 40 m² paddling pool. The swimming pool also has a wellness area with a sauna, heated benches and an ice fountain.
Outside, in July and August, the pool offers a summer pool with a lagoon, a jacuzzi, a slide and a paddling pool. You can also relax on the grassy beach next to the summer pool.
The Pinsan swimming pool has been awarded three stars by the Piscine de Demain label.
This label rewards facilities that meet criteria for sustainable and ecological management as well as social equity.
