L'Intendant
L’Intendant is located in Bordeaux’s famous “Triangle d’Or” (Golden Triangle), the historic heart of the city, behind the façade of an 18th century townhouse. Upon entering this wine shop founded by Duclot in 1989, wine enthusiasts will discover a circular 12-metre tower with a spiral staircase reaching up through five floors.
The 1,200 oak wine racks lining the walls of the tower contain over 1,600 labels. A library dedicated to Bordeaux wines. Each step is magical, leading to rare wines, old vintages and large formats…
L’Intendant also offers Saturday tastings hosted by the owners of prestigious Bordeaux wine estates, along with a loyalty program, a corporate gifting service, and delivery throughout France. You can find the tasting schedule on the intendant.com website
The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
