Situated in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, on the edge of the appellation Saint Julien and since 1793 the domain of Lanessan has belonged to the same family.
It represents 380 hectares of forests and vineyards. Built between 1878 and 1887, the château and its outbuildings are one of the last works of the prominent architect Henri Duphot.
We invite you to come and discover with family or friends, during visits-tasting, guided and commented, around its park of 8 hectares with hundred-year-old trees, its garden and greenhouses, its collection of family horse-drawn coaches, its vineyards and its wines.
Furthermore, themes tastings are proposed: tasting workshop, vertical tasting, wines with chocolate.
All our tastings are served with bread and cheeses. If you like, take a gourmet break and enjoy the regional product (contact us).

A cottage, hosting up to 6 guest “La Maison des Hôtesses » is now available, surrounding the parc and the old stables « Le Musée du Cheval ». It is an ideal place to rest, relax and discover the unique gustatory experiences whilst enjoying the Médoc region’s quality of life.
