On April 15, 1874, in Nadar's studio in Paris, around thirty independent artists were preparing to exhibit works outside the official Salon, marking the birth of Impressionism.
This exhibition revolutionized art history by showcasing bold creations that challenged conventions.
Relive the birth of this great artistic movement, meet these iconic painters, and visit the landmarks of Impressionism such as Le Havre, La Grenouillère, or the Gare Saint-Lazare, as they were 150 years ago!
Created by Excurio in collaboration with the Musée d'Orsay, this experience combines rigorous scientific work to faithfully recreate the atmosphere of the time and understand the impact of this artistic revolution.
