The new, fun, family-friendly exhibition about the human body is coming to Cap Sciences, where it will run until 29 August 2027.

Take the whole family on a journey to discover what’s going on inside your tummy!

With *Poop! What does the microbiota do?*, Cap Sciences takes you on an immersive, funny and surprising family exhibition right into the heart of the microbiota. This invisible ecosystem lives inside you, works for you, and will never cease to amaze you.
Step through a giant mouth, journey through the stomach, explore the intestines and go behind the scenes of digestion via the famous ‘Cacabinet’. At every stage, you’ll discover hands-on activities, games and a whole host of experiments, each one funnier than the last. An interactive adventure to enjoy as a family and discover science in a whole new way.
As you make your way through the exhibition, shift your perspective and meet the billions of microorganisms that inhabit your body. Invisible to the naked eye, bacteria, viruses and yeasts make up the microbiota and play a vital role in your digestion, your immune system and even your mood.
The investigation continues in a laboratory. What discoveries have revolutionised our understanding of the microbiome? Through fun and accessible experiments, take a peek behind the scenes of scientific research thanks to a guided tour designed for young and old alike.
Finally, head home with tips and tricks for looking after your microbiome on a daily basis: diet, fibre, friendly bacteria, lifestyle habits…
