Les Bassins des Lumières presents its new immersive exhibition, an exclusive creation celebrating the beauty of the oceans and the richness of underwater life.

Ocean, an immersive dive

In this spectacular universe, underwater life comes to life on the monumental walls and in the aquatic reflections of the basins: colorful reef fish, sea turtles, majestic orcas, sharks, mischievous dolphins and even seals from the polar regions.
Conceived as a sensory and poetic odyssey, this life-size immersion promises to amaze young and old alike.

A life-size immersion in the heart of the oceans

This immersive show plunges visitors into the heart of the oceans, offering a striking encounter with underwater life. Blue whales, orcas, white sharks, sperm whales and abyssal fish appear at life-size, creating an experience of rare intensity. The diversity of shapes and colors of marine flora and fauna is revealed in spectacular tableaux featuring seahorses, phosphorescent jellyfish and penguins gliding over ice floes. But beyond the sense of wonder, the exhibition also invites us to reflect on the fragility of the oceans and the impact of human activity on these unique, essential but threatened ecosystems.

A cinematic staging of the marine world

Designed as a cinematic staging, the experience combines monumental images with an immersive soundtrack. The natural sounds of the ocean mingle with emblematic music, reinforcing the emotion of the sequences: a giant octopus emerges to the rhythm of the Goldfinger theme, while luminous jellyfish dance in harmony with the music. The fruit of a year's work, this exclusive creation presented at the Bassins des Lumières brings together over 800 video sequences and showcases more than 100 marine species, adapted to the immense projection surfaces for total immersion.

• Full price: €16
• Senior rate: €15 (over 65)
• Reduced rate : 12.50 (students, jobseekers, holders of the Education pass, accompanying person of a disabled person, on presentation of proof)
• Youth ticket: €9 (6-25 years old)
• Family price: €43 (2 adults + 2 young people)
• Free for children under 6, holders of a disability card, members of ICOM and ICOMOS, lecturers and interpreter-guides, journalists, people on minimum welfare benefits, scientific staff of public museums, members of the art critics' association (on presentation of proof).
