A festival dedicated to historical films
Since 1990, the Cinéma Jean Eustache has hosted the Historical Film Festival every November, bringing together professionals, curious visitors and enthusiasts to enjoy a wide range of films and discussions. A place for meeting and exchanging ideas, the Historical Film Festival is a must-attend event for all lovers and enthusiasts of history and cinema.
Each edition centres on a specific theme. This year, the theme in the spotlight will be ‘Secrets and Lies’, explored through 50 films – including great classics, recent fiction films and documentaries – and around thirty debates featuring a host of prominent figures (historians, geographers, politicians and scientists).
