On the occasion of the European night of Museums 2026, the National Customs Museum opens its doors for a special evening around play, travel and discovery. Unique in France, this museum traces the history and missions of customs. Recently renovated, it offers a modern course accessible to all.
Evening games in partnership with the fortnight of the game 2026
As part of the fortnight of the 2026 game, organized in the Bordeaux metropolis for 15 days in May by the collective Game Festival, the museum proposes in collaboration an evening dedicated games related to travel and the customs universe.
Temporary exhibition: "Customs at the borders of the offshore"
Discover the history of maritime customs through a selection of antique objects, uniforms, boat models and testimonies. The exhibition also presents the current missions of customs at sea: Maritime trade control, safety at sea, environmental protection and rescue.
Free visit of the permanent course
Accessible by free visit all evening, the permanent route allows you to discover the history of customs, from Antiquity to today.
