• From the famous Recette du cake d'amour to the Chanson du prince amoureux, every note of Peau d'âne is etched in our memories. An enchanting adaptation of Charles Perrault's fairy tale, this French-style musical, starring Catherine Deneuve among others, is one of Jacques Demy's greatest successes. Composed in a lyrical vein, Michel Legrand's score plunges the spectator into a singular universe, at once baroque, naive and modern. A way to (re)experience all the richness of this classic French film, carried by the energy of the music played by the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine.
