‘Dinosaurs’, the immersive experience at the Bassins des Lumières
3 October - 1 November
This autumn, the Bassins des Lumières is unveiling a new immersive experience that promises to transport visitors 66 million years back in time, to the age of the dinosaurs.
A new experience at the Bassins des Lumières
Narrated by Gérard Lanvin, *Prehistoric Planet: Dinosaurs* immerses visitors in the spectacular landscapes of prehistoric Earth and introduces them to an impressive array of wildlife: from giant pterosaurs to marine reptiles such as the mosasaur, and from agile velociraptors to the terrifying Tyrannosaurus rex. Visitors will also discover never-before-seen scenes, enhanced by the original soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, Anže Rozman and Kara Talve.
From the fragile birth of young herbivorous dinosaurs to the T. rex’s nocturnal hunt, via the colossal Dreadnoughtus (one of the largest dinosaurs) and the mysteries revealed by fossils, this immersive experience explores the deep connections that unite all forms of life on Earth, both past and present.
