The gods of the stadium in Talence

Combined events are the pinnacle of athletics, with all-round athletes competing over two days in 10 events for the men's decathlon and 7 events for the women's heptathlon. In each of these events, the performance of the athletes is converted into points, and the final ranking is established by adding up the results of each performance. High jump, long jump, pole vault, 110m hurdles, javelin, races... there are as many disciplines as there are talented athletes competing at the Pierre-Paul Bernard stadium, in the heart of the Thouars woods.
