The Côtes de Bourg appellation

Recognised as an appellation d'origine contrôlée since 1936, the Côtes de Bourg vineyards, which date back to the 2nd century AD, are located on the right bank of the Gironde and Dordogne rivers. Covering 3,400 hectares of vines 35 kilometres from Bordeaux, it extends over some fifteen communes.
