Company, the musical
24 - 27 September
Discover the Bordeaux National Opera's event show for the 2025-2026 season.
A musical to launch the Opéra season
It's a show about friendships, love and loneliness, told through an ensemble of brilliant songs and witty scenes that bring together breathtaking dance numbers. Unreleased in France, although first performed on Broadway by Harold Prince in 1970, Stephen Sondheim's masterpiece has been widely acclaimed on the other side of the Atlantic. A social fresco that's still wildly topical, Company explores the themes of relationships and married life in a succession of witty, humorous tableaux. We follow Bobby in his life as a New York bachelor, as he attempts to answer the question: how do you love in an increasingly hectic world?
