Discover La Sauve-Majeure Abbey listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site! This Benedictine Abbey, masterpiece of Romanesque art of 12th century, let discover remarkable sculpted capitals. From the top of its bell-tower, you can enjoy a remarkable view.

Built between the 11th and 13th centuries and famed for its capitals, the Abbey features outstanding examples of sculpture and architectural remains.

A landscape from another time. Set around a large meadow and majestic trees, the Abbey, open to the elements, stands in over 200 hectares of grounds enclosed by a surrounding wall.

In the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers region. Between Garonne and Dordogne, the Abbey takes its name from the Silva Major or "great forest".
