La Meca: the House of the creative and cultural economy in New Aquitaine The MÉCA, which houses the regional cultural agencies dedicated to the performing arts, books and cinema as well as the FRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine, is the new Maison de l'économie créative et culturelle en Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
The Frac has 1,200 m² of exhibition space and 900 m² of storage space, a room dedicated to the artistic practice of schoolchildren, a documentation and digital resource centre, a 90-seat auditorium, etc...

Also very spectacular, a terrace of 850 m² has been created on the roof of one of the piles of the building. It is open to the public free of charge, and offers a unique panorama of Bordeaux and the river.
