At Malagar, in the footsteps of François Mauriac, there's something for everyone: for nature lovers, the superb panorama over the Garonne valley; for literary enthusiasts, a visit to the estate steeped in the words of the Nobel Prize winner; for history buffs, the discovery of the writer's journey through his century. A heritage site in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, the estate is classified as a Historic Monument, with the Maisons des Illustres label, and its 4-hectare park is also listed.

Following a major restoration project, Malagar is now equipped with digital tools to enhance the guided tour of the Maison, the exhibition at the Chai du Rouge and the creation of an Escape Game, with headset and joystick. Literary walks, children?s activities, seminars and cultural events make Malagar a living heritage site not to be missed.
