Osteria Pizzeria Da Bartolo
The new restaurant of the saint pierre district, 100% Italian! Osteria is a place you will find a heartwarming welcome. This restaurant is as Bartolo the neapolitan owner: homely, welcoming, bountiful and true. Everything is there fresh and homemade, even bread! Bartolo changes his menu every day.
Fruits, vegetables and fishes come from the market every morning. Cheese, delicatessen and olive oil are imported directly from Naples twice a week.
The pizza dough rests for 36 hours and pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven. But you should also try pasta, prepared in a workshop below the restaurant. Start in july: gluten free versions.
But the proper Bartolo’s signature is cooking fish. Remember that Italy is surrounded by seas. You have to try tagliatelle with lobster!
Wine menus focused on Italian wines, obviously! You’ll find Barolo, great Toscans, Brunello di Montalcino, Montepulciano (wine lovers, feel free to ask for other wines to the chief!)
