Da Vinci, the inventions of a genius
25 August - 30 September
On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of his death, the world's largest exhibition dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci is setting up its suitcases at the Museo Marino.
More than 120 models based on the original Leonardo da Vinci codices are to be discovered.
Leonardo da Vinci, who was at the same time a painter, sculptor, philosopher, engineer, town planner, botanist and anatomist, left behind more than 6,000 pages of notes and drawings describing hundreds of inventions and experiments in a wide variety of disciplines.
Regarded as a "passer of ancient techniques and knowledge", this visionary inventor opened the doors to a new scientific era.
Created by a Belgian team of engineers, historians, graphic designers and craftsmen, the exhibition aims to highlight the latest published historical and scientific research on Leonardo da Vinci.
Come and test the artist's inventions and embark on a spectacular journey through time.
This exhibition has been realised by Xpo Factory with the participation of the artist Antonio Nunziante who has created the 8 paintings decomposed in the Da Vinci way.
