Bordeaux Metropole and the tourist and convention office have undertaken an open governance process. They now integrate all stakeholders in a common reflection about the future of urban tourism and events activity in a sustainable perspective. More than just a website, Agora for tourism in Bordeaux Metropole is a shared space to study these key topics in total transparency. Since 2021, visitors, residents and professionals are invited to exchange their ideas for tomorrow’s tourism.

Several encounters dedicated to co-creation have been organized in 2021, involving residents, associations, metropolitan elected representatives, tourism professionals, cultural and sport institutions. The goal of these workshops? To agree on a collective vision and a multi-year action plan for the future of our tourism activity. Throughout the year, the site will be updated to track the progress of this consultation.
