Have the experience of a lifetime – take an entire day to explore Bordeaux’s vineyards and learn all about their remarkable diversity. You’ll begin by trying fragrant white wines from Graves and Pessac-Léognan, followed by Loupiac or Cerons sweet wines. We’ll finish with local sparkling wine and age-old red wines from Saint-Emilion.
The highlight of the excursion is a picnic lunch served with Loupiac wines amid the vineyards. The day will end with a tour at a friendly family-owned winery where you’ll taste delicious specialties such as local cheeses and cured meats that complement the wines. At the end of your adventure in wine tasting, you’ll know all there is to know when it comes to Bordeaux wines.
9 a.m.: Meet your guide in front of the Bordeaux Office du Tourisme at 12 cours du XXX Juillet.
9:15 a.m.: En route to the Graves vineyards. Along the way, your guide will tell you about Bordeaux’s vineyards and you’ll see some of the region’s quintessential landscapes.
10 a.m.: Tour at a Graves Grand Cru Classé winery Château Carbonnieux; wine tasting of the vineyard’s red and white wines.
11:40 a.m.: Tour of a family-owned vineyard in Loupiac or Cerons; a picnic lunch is served with the winery’s sweet and/or dry wines.
2 p.m. Departure to the Saint-Emilion vineyards via the sumptuous landscapes of Entre-Deux-Mers, considered as Bordeaux’s “little Tuscany”.
3 p.m.: Enjoy a glass of Crémant, the local sparkling wine, in a stunning abbey from the middle age.
3:30 p.m.: A short guided tour on foot in the charming village of Saint-Emilion.
4:45 p.m.: Tour of a family-owned wine estate typical of this region. You’ll be greeted by a family member with whom you’ll taste delicious specialties such as local cheeses and cured meats that complement the wines – just perfect for a French aperitif!
6:45 p.m.: Back to Bordeaux

The price includes : Transport in an 8 seat minivan, a licensed bilingual guide who speaks both French and English,3 winery tours each including wine tasting (up to 9 tastings in one day!), picnic lunch served with sweet/dry wines, sightseeing of up to 5 different wine regions, tasting local specialties, a bottle of water and a vineyard map.
This tour is not available for children under 13.
A teenager 13- 18 must be accompanied by an adult and is not allowed to have wine tasting.
